I just found a list of some names of people buried in the Old Stone Creek cemetery! I have print out copy of some cemeteries that are on a microfiche I have. The person who did the survey states that most of the graves were not readable, but she did record the ones could read: Alex Tharpe, son of Wm. and Martha Tharpe Virginia, 5 months and 15 days, daughter of same parents also Rev. Vincent A. Tharp , 23 Sept 1825, age 65 and V. T. A. Tharp , born 1795, died 1823 Two more graves inside a stone wall: John Davis , died 15 April 1826 aged 50 years,8 months, and 11 days Rebecca Davis died 19 August 1844 , age 67 This survey was made by Eleanor Davis McSwain, and co-signed by Virginia Palmer. I am looking for information on William SOLOMON pastor of Stone Creek Church in 1872, I believe he maybe the one that married Susan Smith. If so he was born in 1792. Possibly died in 1874.
