Hi, my surnames from Twiggs,GA are Youngblood and Porter. I have Joel Leroy Youngblood born in 1820 and married Ruth Ann Porter. Joel's parents are Peter Youngblood and Rebecca Gates. and Ruth's are John Porter and Olive. There are several Peter Youngblood's around then but my Peter died when Joel was very young and had a guardian. Joel's children were George Henry,Y.,Martha, Rebecca, Elizabeth Peter Baldwin Y. Laura, John Wesley Y. Wiley Leroy Y., and Ruth all believed to be born in Twiggs, GA. Then they went to Dale County Alabama and then to Rusk, County TX. Ruth had a sister named Elizabeth, but do not know if there were any other brothers or sisters.
