My great,great grandfather was Samuel Ross (Rafe) Methvin married to Sarah Ann Sears. His son, William Ross Methvin, my great grandfather married Henrietta Caroline Hodges (granddaughter of Willis & Lydia Baldwin Hodges of Twiggs Co.) of Sumter Co. Samuel's half-brother William had sons & many of their descendants lived and died in Twiggs Co. I do not know if they lived near Stone Creek Church. Let me know what info you would like.
