Hand is listed in the 1840 Twiggs County Census. I don't know if this is my gggrandfather or his father. I do know that the Joseph Hand I am seeking was having children in Macon County in the 1860's. I also found a Joseph R. Hand on the Civil War Muster Roll, a corporol from Macon County Ga. Company A 10 Battalion Georgia Infantry I was told by my great-aunt that he married a Harriett Ann Waters. Any info on him and/or his wife would be appreciated.
