I'm searching for information on & descendants of this Katie Pate Jernigan. I am a descendant of her brother, Stephen S Pate (1 July 1823 Twiggs Co Ga- 1 Sept 1863 Whitesville [now Guyton,] Effingham Co, Ga. Stephen was a resident of Randolph Co, GA at the time of his death during the War Between the States.
