GA as early as 1793 in a part that became Lincoln Co. in 1796. Deeds indicate his land was located on the Savannah River. ELIZABETH KIRKHAM AYERS MIMS (b. 1758 VA d. Twiggs Co. GA 1814) SEABORN MIMS, son of Shadrack and Elizabeth MIMS, was admr of the estate of Shadrack. It appears that they left Lincoln Co. GA and moved to Twiggs along with their JEMISON uncle and cousins. Before 1820 Seaborn Mims moved to AL. His sister, Mary Polly MIMS married JAMES WARE and they remained in Twiggs. They are buried in Old Richland Baptist Church cemetery in Twiggs Co. GA.
