In Twiggs County I have Lucinda Griffin Solomon (widow of Henry Solomon) who married Elias Pearce in 1848, and had one child together, Edward Coke Pearce, born 1849. There are 8 Pearce households on the 1830 census: John, James, Jacob, Lazarus, Jacob Sr., Alexander, Theophilis, and Charlotte. There is also a Wiley Pearce mentioned in Ira Peck's day book in 1826, who I think moved away from Twiggs. I think Lazarus, Jacob Sr., and James may be brothers, and they had a brother John in Houston County. I don't know how the others may be related or if all of them are. There are 4 Griffin households listed on the 1830 census: Larkin, Yancy, Ethelred and William. There were 3 others listed in Ira Peck's day book: John, L. L. and James. L. L. could be Lewis Lawrence Griffin, who went on to found Griffin, GA, but I don't know for sure. Larkin, Ethelred and William all seem to be about the same age, and Yancy is older. Lucinda Griffin Solomon Pearce's family seems to be connected with Larkin Griffin . Paula
