    3. I too have been looking for that cemetery and I think I know about where it is. I plan to try to find it soon. Also there is a book in the Washington Memorial Library in Macon that lists the names of those found in that cemetery. If I recall right the book was written by a Mrs. Willingham. My great aunt Carrie Latson married Britt O'Neal who, I believe was of that family. Britt and Carrie are buried in Andrews Cemetery located on Old Marion Road about 3/4 mile from the current Twiggs County Lind in Bibb County. I will let you know of the results of my search soon. Also we'd love to put this cemetery in the Bibb Archives, if anyone locates it or has the material on it. DATE: Thu, 25 Jan 2001 13:57:29 From: "Amber" <amberann@mindspring.com> To: <sigler-sanders@lycos.com> Hello I am trying desperately to find the old O'Neal family cemetery Bibb County, Ga.. My father has been traipsing through the woods for the past year in search of a graveyard he recalls visiting long ago. The directions we have from old family records seem to be a bit outdated. ..... located on the "John O'Neal plantation" This refers to my great-great-great grandfather. This property was taken into Bibb County when the county lines(Twiggs/Bibb) were moved. More of the directions read ..."located between Cochran Short Route, Hwy 87, And Riggins Mill Rd---East of the old Nelson Mill pond Road, along the power line out to I-16 about 5 miles from Macon, traveling South" Dad thinks he can find it if given enough time........ He says there were markers, and he's sure it's no longer maintained. I was hoping you might have some more information or maybe know someone who may know. My father was born in MAcon, and grew up there, went to the old Lanier School for Boys, then on to Mercer. He is very familiar with the land in Macon. His house growing up was on Cochran Short Route, across from the YKK zipper plant, and Geico. I believe it is now called Dillard. We are in Albany, GA now... Please let me know if you can shed any light on this.
