Her father was William Dyer, born January 31, 1834, son of Thomas Dyer and Mary Thompson. I have no other known siblings for William Dyer. It seems your Liles-Dyer search leads to this family as William married a Lucinda Liles Harrison, September 3, 1865, in Twiggs County, GA. I would appreciate any information you may have that would connect this Dyer line.
I am researchig my Liles family, I have two lines of LILES, LYLES all lived in different parts of Georgia. Ephraim Liles lived in Twiggs Co. GA. they had moved there from SC. Ephraim was a Revolutionary Soldier and was married to Margaret Young. Their grandson was Robert Green who was my G. Grandfather. Robert was raised by his stepfather, a Mister Dyer, we have never known his first name. the Dyer family is another family I need information on. Can anyone help me with these families., I would appreciate any info. Thank You Evelyn Green, Drawdy

I believe this was by Robert's first wife (not sarah)? Woody stated he married Ellen Johnson of Ga. and Children born beginning in 1842 in Sabine Co. Republic of Texas. Woody was trying to hide something so I believe he muddied the water concerning who his wife was and where she was from. I believe woody ran away from home when he was 14. VCB
