    2. ROLL CALL My surnames in Twiggs Co. Ga. are: YOUNG & GILLEY My George Remer YOUNG-Born-1799 in Ga. Perhaps in Madison Co. Ga. Was on 1830 & 1840 Twiggs Co. Ga. Census. He married Mary Ann GILLEY/GILLY @1824. Children were: Elizabeth, John, George Jr., William M., Nancy A., James Ellis YOUNG. In 1849 they left Georgia and settled on Bodcau Bayou in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. The middle names of REMER & ELLIS may be allied family names as I have found several Remer YOUNG's & Ellis YOUNG's. My George Remer YOUNG lived on the Twiggs/Bibb County border close to the Ocmulgee River. I believe in some kind of land transaction in 1858 his property was still referred to as 'the George YOUNG fraction'' names mentioned in this transaction were: Mary Mildred BULL & John H. BULL, children of Jessie J. Bull, deceased. Also mentioned were: L.L. HARDIN, Abisha ANDREWS, Isham ANDREWS, Drew WILLIAMS. They had a guardian named Elisha DAVIS, John DAVIS & Louis SOLOMON. Anyone know these people please contact me. I am trying to find the parents of George Remer YOUNG & Mary Ann GILLEY, my GGG-Grandparents. THANKS, Kay

    1. [GATWIGGS] Griffin, Pearce
    2. Keith and Paula Griffin
    3. In Twiggs County I have Lucinda Griffin Solomon (widow of Henry Solomon) who married Elias Pearce in 1848, and had one child together, Edward Coke Pearce, born 1849. There are 8 Pearce households on the 1830 census: John, James, Jacob, Lazarus, Jacob Sr., Alexander, Theophilis, and Charlotte. There is also a Wiley Pearce mentioned in Ira Peck's day book in 1826, who I think moved away from Twiggs. I think Lazarus, Jacob Sr., and James may be brothers, and they had a brother John in Houston County. I don't know how the others may be related or if all of them are. There are 4 Griffin households listed on the 1830 census: Larkin, Yancy, Ethelred and William. There were 3 others listed in Ira Peck's day book: John, L. L. and James. L. L. could be Lewis Lawrence Griffin, who went on to found Griffin, GA, but I don't know for sure. Larkin, Ethelred and William all seem to be about the same age, and Yancy is older. Lucinda Griffin Solomon Pearce's family seems to be connected with Larkin Griffin . Paula
