Author: bchub78 Surnames: Turner & Blount Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.georgia.counties.turner/721/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Would appreciate any leads on my great grand parents, Charles Henry Turner and Mary Frances Blount prior to 1900. They appear on the 1900 US Census with their family in Jonesboro, GA. In October 1908 the family suffered the loss of their son Matthew by a shooting accident, he is buried in the Turner Cemetery of Clayton County, GA. The family sold their farm and moved to Ashburn, GA and appear on the 1910 US Census, from there they moved to Brevard County, FL in about 1920. I have been unable to locate them on the 1920 US Census in Georgia or Florida. Am most curious to know why they did not appear on the 1920 Census but not as much as who their parents were.
