Addis Howard Jr. was my biological grandfather but I have never seen a picture of him. I only have one picture of my biological grandmother, his wife, Thelma Puckett. I tried to acquire his service records but they were destroyed in a fire decades ago. Addis Howard Jr. and Thelma Puckett were married in Atlanta and lived there. My mother was born in Atlanta in 1951. I am not sure if Addis had returned from Korea yet when my grandmother passed away in 1953.
