I am interested in the following people living in and around Troup Co, GA and Tallapoosa Co, AL. James WILLSON (WILSON) born 25 Nov 1784 in GA or SC and died 24 Aug 1880 maybe in Carrol Co, GA. He was married to Sarah CAMERON on 11 May 1830 in Jasper Co, GA. I found reference of a James WILLSON who married folks in Troup in the 1850's. James may have been a preacher. Benjamin H. WILLSON (WILSON) born 11 Jan 1790 in SC or GA and died 5 Apr 1849 in Coosa or Tallapoosa Co, AL. He was married to Susannah CAMERON, sister to Sarah. I also found reference that a Benjamin H WILSON married folks in Tallapoosa Co, AL in the late 1830s and 1840s. Three of Benjamin's son (Benjamin F, John G, and Thomas H) were living in Tallapoosa Co in the 1850 census. Their mother Susannah was living with B.F. B.H. and Susannah's children were: Sarah Ann b 1816, Robert b 1817, Virginia Emeline b 1818, John G. b 1820, Nelson b 1824, Benjamin Franklin b 1826, Thomas H b 1828, and Susan E b 1829. Does anyone have info or leads about this group of people? Any records to be found or had concerning preachers in this area during these times?
