    3. Hi Everybody. I just went to work for 8 hours and look at all these new posts. It is so nice to see everyone helping each other. My cousin Shirley Bowen was well known in LaGrange,Clay and Randolph Counties for her dedication in the Genealogy field. She was a beautiful person and had a great love for searching out our ancestors. Each year four times a year she published a family newsletter. When she passed away over a year ago, I really missed those newsletters and the knowledge I was gaining about my ancestors through her. Each newsletter she would publish a column called "Family Stuff" and try to include an item about each surname on mother her mothers and fathers sides. So far I have not been able to add anything to her work, but hope to someday and dedicate copies of it to the Archives, so when my children or grandchildren go in search of their ancestors the information will be available to them to carry on. I found an old 1994 issue yesterday with this clipping in in since it has two of the surnames that some of you are searching so I thought I would post it here. Most of the material I have at home does not go way back and I am still waiting on the ok to reprint some of Mr Johnson's information. I mailed him a personal letter today. I hope he replies very soon so that I can answer some of your questions. >From the LaGrange Daily News, June 16, 1932 OFFICERS NAMED BY CHURCH GROUP Christian Endeavor Society Organizes Dramatic Society The organization of a dramatic club, the election of officers and plans to send four delegates to the conference to be held July 28 - August 4 at the Southern Union college in Wadley, Ala. featured the business meeting of the senior Christian Endeavor society of the United Congregational-Christian church which was held Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. & Mrs. R.
