I don't know if you can help me - but here's my problem. I am looking for a Hardin family that I believe to have been in the Troup Co. area. My ancestor, Lorenzo Hardin was born in 1827. He shows up in the 1850 Meriwether Co. census in the home of a James Shepard as a coachmaker. He married Martha Dodson the daughter of Lott Dodson, has three children, Sarie, Augustus and Margaret and dies before Aug. 1859. There were three Hardin families in Troup Co. in 1830 (I am of course looking in Troup since that's what Meriwether came from), Adam, John and William. Is anyone working on these families who can say yea or nay to whether any of these folks had a Lorenzo born 1827? Thanks, Rene
