Hi Everyone, I just joined the list. We have been looking for my great great great grandfather William DAY. All we know is that he married in Pittsylvania, Va. 17 Aug. 1801 to Mary Poley FORMBY. T They had one child Moses DAY born abt 1804 in VA. We know that Mary married a William H. MOORE in Oglethorpe, Ga 23 Sept. 1805. Moses DAY married Celia REYNOLDS/RUNNELLS in Morgan, Ga 30 June 1826. Moses and William MOORE lived in Monroe, Ga abt 1830. Both families moved to LaGrange, Troup Co. abt 1840-1850. Moses and William had families in LaGrange Moses moved on to Gilmer, Upshur Co., Texas around 1853 William and Mary are both buried in LaGrand on Johnnie Ledford land in LaGrange. I am looking for anyone who might be connected to either of these families.
