Hi Lynda, Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. None of the Browns or the Scotts were names that I recognized. But, my goodness, the locations are so right!!! I have a dead end Brown in my grandfather, William Franklin Brown b. 1884 d. 1969. I have just started to look for his parents. I don't know his mother's name nor father's nor where he was born. He married Catherine Josephine Harris in 1901. They lived in Carroll County. I'm told that they were cousins, so he is probably related to the W. A. D. Brown (Catherine's grandfather) that I mentioned in the Troup list. My Scott's lived mainly in Calhoun Co., AL and later in DeKalb. I'll keep in touch if anything rings a bell. Barbara
