Would anyone know anything of the ancestry of Leonidas Cohron and John Cohron listed in the 1840 census? Both families moved to Alabama, where they are listed in the 1850 census of Chambers Co. Leonidas was apparently dead by then, his wife Eliza Jane and their children (Nicholas, John, Amanda, Leonidas, and Nancy) appearing in census without Leonidas, Sr. The surname is listed as Cochran at that time and there a number of other families of same name in Chambers Co in 1850. I'm wondering if Leonidas Sr. was related to one of those families. Eliza Jane would remarry a Thomas Sellers and be in Henry County, AL by 1860. Thanks, Ron Hall
