    3. One more post today and I promise to be quiet and let you all have a turn. One of the reasons I started this board is because I am having a hard time finding my own relatives and keep reading and trying every source I can. I have made some wonderful friends and found some cousins I never knew I had through the internet (an exciting note on Oct 17, I am going to meet two of them in person). One person I have become quite fond of has my grandparents on the well documented side (Kilgore's and Caldwell's) has my grandmother's nickname as her name on his website. I was ready to do battle with him and wrote him a fast email and told him my grandmother was Clara not CLACK, of which I keep reminding him. I live in Central Florida and we have had our share of crazy weather this year like some of you have had. The night that the fires were rapidly spreading around us. I posted a note to the Copeland board and a lady in Cheyene Wyoming answered and we talked for two hours back and fourth. We haven't connected yet but are working very hard at it. We have found that our lines were in North Carolina together. She has become the greatest of friends and when we need that encouragement not to give up, we send each other a quick note and sometimes manage to figure out a new approac to try. I recently found another friend through another board who we had been discussing things together. She never told me anything was wrong, and I learned that while we were going back and forth, a family member of hers was dying and that I had helped her through that trying time in her life. If you are reading and article and you see a note about John Doe with a date on it, don't think that that won't help someone. It might be an uncle or gggranddad that someone has spent hours and hours looking for. Stick a piece of paper or highlight it and send it to the board. You may be rewarded with that email that says "YOUR THE GREATEST YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY MONTHS OR DAYS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR HIM" That is better than getting that new Monte Carlo Z28 1999 for Christmas. (Not really hubby -just kidding). It's one of the most heartwarming experiences you can have. Ok that's it I promise no more today. Hilda P.S. I am searching for Cobb and Copeland. Anyone connected?
