I'm looking for any information on the Osborn/Osburn family that lived there from 1830-50. George is my ggggg-grandfather. I'm trying to figure out how William and Yearby are connected. Yearby and two of his sons, Thomas and Russel are found in Pickens county Alabama in 1840's and purchased land there. Then william died in Troup Co. in 1846 and named Yearby as his executor and mentioned him as being his father. Thomas and Russel remained in Pickens Co. Al, and were dentist. I'm trying to find out what happened to yearby too. He seems to have dissappeared after the 1850 census. Does anyone have a connection to this family?
