The DUNN family of Troup County came from North Carolina, and the HANCOCK family came from Virginia. There is no mention of either family in "A History of LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia 1828 - 1900" so since Josee DUNN was born in 1824, and his daughter, Lorena Victoria, died in Atlanta, it would seem that this family did not live in Troup County for very long.
