Folks, this has been an eventful year, and I have really enjoyed getting back into genealogy, after many years away. This mail list and the web site are provided to us for free, courtesy of Rootsweb, meaning most of the bills are paid out of the pocket of Brian Leverich and Karen Isaacson. If you have $12 you can spare, or $24, or even $50, it will help Rootsweb continue to grow and provide us with even more space and goodies. That $50 for one year gets you a web site on Rootsweb with 25 megabytes of space. Or for just $12 a year you can get one mail list, (want one for your favorite surname?) and seven GenConnect boards where you can post queries, obits, wills, deeds, etc. Here are the new surname lists that someone else has already chosen. Some of them don't work yet. I tried the Coker and Posey lists, and they work, but the Markham list doesn't work yet. The GenConnect team is on vacation until the 28th.
