Hello listmembers, I am researching the above family and wondering if I have any cousins out there in cyberspace doing the same. I will gladly trade/share information. I know at one time they were in Walton Co., GA. Also there is a P. GRANGER listed in Cass Co. on the 1840 census. Does anybody know who this Granger is? Mollie Charles Pawlik Texas
Hi folks! I am new to this listing, I am doing some research for an elderly friend of mine. We are looking for someone that could do a look-up for us in the "Histories of LaGrange and Troup County" books. We are searching for any information on the SPINKS family from LaGrange. Thank you very kindly for anyone that can assist us! Lynn Jacksonville, FL
Lynn Contact Lynda T Veal (my sister) at TX2STP6621@aol.com. I think she has the book and will try to help you. Liz
Did you have any from Marion Co GA? I have some there in a book I have written for my bro-in-law and his lines. Naomi

Don't know if they are your lines or not but there were Hancocks in Haris Co GA, adj to Troup. Might be worth a ck to see. I know the Hancocks from there married into my Page lines. Naomi
The DUNN family of Troup County came from North Carolina, and the HANCOCK family came from Virginia. There is no mention of either family in "A History of LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia 1828 - 1900" so since Josee DUNN was born in 1824, and his daughter, Lorena Victoria, died in Atlanta, it would seem that this family did not live in Troup County for very long. Does anyone have information on these families? Thanks in advance for assistance. Lynda (Tatum) Veal Descendants of Josee Dunn Generation No. 1 1. JOSEE1 DUNN was born 1824 in Troup Co, GA.
