Surnames: Hall, Braswell Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/0d.2ADE/1374.1.1 Message Board Post: Idella, Yes, she probably is. If her father was Thomas, a Thomas Hall was a son of Juniper Hall b 1769. I'm not sure of the relationship of Jordan to Juniper, but I think they were related. Some researchers have identified a Thomas Hall b 1804 who married Louisa Brown and remained in Emanuel Co as Juniper's son Thomas, but descendants of this couple have pretty much proven him to be a descendant of Isaac Hall instead. Juniper's birthplace in uncertain, but he showed up in Emanuel Co about 1791. He was married two, maybe three times. His last wife was my 2great-grandmother Martha Thigpen, mother of his youngest seven children. Thomas was from his previous marriage to possibly Elizabeth Braswell. He could have been born anytime in the 1790's, so he could have been the father of your Susan Hall. At least one branch of the family that moved to Thomas Co moved into se Alabama, so that would also fit. Can you give me more information about Susan Ann and her husband John Waters, anything else that you know? Names of children and grandchildren might help.
