The Thomasville Times Enterprise now has Times Past on Sundays. They had letters to Santa this past weekend and I wanted to share a few. We have come a long way since then and I personally think for the worse. Live was more simple and pleasant before we allowed Christmas to be all about so many gifts. Winn <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Boston, Ga. December 8, 1935 Dear Santa: For Christmas, I would like for you to bring a present to a little lame boy that lives next door to me. His name is Bob Eason. He lives on Stevens street and Santa, if you would like to bring me a bicycle. Your friend, Zeke Carter Ochlocknee, Georgia December 9, 1935 Dear Saint Nicholas: For Christmas please bring me a package of fire crackers so I can blow off that boy's head that lives on the corner. I don't want a doll this Christmas I'm tired of them. I want a new streamline bicycle, a wrist watch some clothes and a ring. If you don't bring all these things I am going to be mad at you.
