McMillan (1815-1887) and his wife Harriet Singletary (1817-1897) of Bladen County, NC and Thomas County, GA. Griffith McMillan’s parents are unknown and Harriet Singletary’s parents were Willis Singletary and Mary Wood. Griffith and Harriet McMillan’s children were William (married: Louisa McCord), James (married Fannie Pittman and Lula Parramore), Hannah (married David Dixon), Mary, and George (married: Della Bullock). The family left Bladen County, NC in approx. 1860 and moved to Thomas County, GA. I am descended from their son William J. McMillan who married Louisa J. McCord. William and Louisa McMillan’s children were Olivia (married: James Sarrette), David (married: Lucy Brinson), Bulah (married: William Golden), Charles (married: Eola Hicks), Jessie (married: Redden Mash), Hiram, Hannah (married Sam Sholar), Minnie (married: Henry Barrett) and William (married: Rosa Lea! vins).
