There is a book ' of one dozen Sassers and allied families' by Claudia Chitwood Weller. There was a connection to the McCroan family. I do not have a copy, but perhaps the T'ville or Moultrie Library might. No Thompsons were listed in the few pages sent to me, but I was only interesed in Martha. I find quite a few McCroan's in Chipola and Altha FL. My gggrandfather, Henry L Hughes, is buried there with second wife, Zilpha, who is the sister of his son's John's wife, Martha!!! I am looking for first wife, as we can't read name on census. There is also an Edenfiedl family website with a lot of connections to McCroan's.
