    3. They are not pulling any of the free records from either Ancestry.com or World Family Tree. This is just a new search engine that searches all the databases and gives you a report so that you don't have to search individual databases yourself. There have been several articles in genealogical publications and online sources - such as Eastmans - and some of the mail lists for counties have posted a reply from Ancestry. The information is way too long to put in this short message. Leslie Please help make sure I have this correct. 3. Susan, Rootsweb and Ancestry have many announcements on this one is listed below. The trees will remain free. You can access rootsweb trees directly at www.worldconnect.rootsweb.com http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/announce.html#OWT "Family trees submitted through Ancestry World Tree and RootsWeb's WorldConnect Project are free and will remain free. Any options chosen by submitters with respect to GEDCOM download and source display will still work the same way. OneWorldTree doesn't contain those trees, it contains links that help people find them." http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/owt.html Debra Crosby ----- Original Message ----- From: SusanElliott2@aol.com To: GATHOMAS-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 2004 7:26 PM Subject: [GATHOMAS] Ancestry.com 1 World Tree also Rootsweb files!!!!!
