Mollie, The courthouse in Thomas County has some wonderfully preserved records. You can attempt to contact the courthouse and see if someone will look it up for you and send a copy. Ask them to look it up to tell you if a will exists first. They did it for me a few years ago. If they won't do it, you can contact the Georgia Department of Archives and History. In the past, they had a division that would make copies of records for a small fee. I have done it and it is a wonderful service.
