I am looking for an Anna Gates b. 1852 in Ark. d. 1931 in Shreveport, LA and buried in Atlanta, Winn Parish, La. next to husband William Henry Raney. They married in Union Parish, LA in 1870. Her death certificate says her father was William Gates and her mother was a Harold. She told her grandchildren she was born in MoroBay, Ark. but I cannot find records. She also said that her family was originally from Canada or New England. I am trying to find Anna with her parents in the 1860 census or any probate records mentioning her. Need help! Sandra
