I sent you the link to where the photos are -- the Gates girl you grew up with in Elgin may be the right one. Several family members lived in and around Elgin for many years. My father's uncle, Al Creameans, operated the ferry there at one time. I hope you recognize some of the people, it sure would be nice to finally identify them for sure. Several people have given me tentative names for some of the photos, but they weren't positive so I can't remove them from the list! Happy hunting!
