I am looking for anyone who may have information on a J.P. Gates, born in PA on or about 1781. I believe this man to be my great, great, great, great grandfather but I am unable to make a firm connection between J.P. and the man I believe to be his son, Michael born KY 1811. I have a direct link to Michael. J.P. had another son named Valentine Gates who I believe settled in Sumner Co TN in 1830. Any info appreciated, thank you. Gena Gates Lally
