I wonder if I am “knocking on my brick wall”. Would like to know more about family information on the families below. I found the people (males) on various censuses and suspect they are all related. GARDNER GATES 26yrs b VT MARTHA GATES 25yrs b VT CHARLES GATES 3yrs b VT ALAIS GATES 1yrs b VT 1840 JACOB GATES 1=m 80-90 1=f 20-30 1=f 70-80 SOPHIA GATES 1=m 5-10 2=m 15-20 1=f 30-40 JESSE GATES 2=m 10-15 1=m 50-60 1=f 20-30 1=f 40-50 URIAL GATES 1=m 15-20 1=m 20-30 1=m 60-70 1=f under 5 1=f 15-20 1=f 50-60 In the 1820 and 1830 Census, URIAL, JACOB and NEHEMIAH GATES are shown. In 1830 Urial is probably 50-60 yrs; Jacob (different from above one) is 70-80; Nehemiah is 70-80. I tried to find these GATES in History of Rutland, online, and have yet to find a bio about any of them. Do you have information on these people? Thank you Susanne Michigan
