My Martin Gates, born 1805 Washington County PA, died 1/10/1887 in Medina County, Ohio and is buried there. He had a son, also named Martin, who was born 1/10/1848 and died 1/30/1876 - this Martin was married to Elilzabeth Kulp and they had 2 daughters, Nellie and Ida Mae. I have not come across any info on the Martin Gates you describe. Good luck! Cindy
