In one of my grandmother's albums is a black and white photo of a dark-haired lady and a blond girl sitting on the porch steps of a house. On the back of the photo is written Sue Gates. The photo is dated Feb. 1949. My grandmother, Susie Dobbs-Creameans, lived in Arkansas most of her life, so I'm assuming this photo was probably taken in AR. Does anyone know anything about this lady and what her connection to my family might be? I would be happy to email a scanned copy of the photo to anyone who might be related.
