Mother : only name i have for mother is alice. Walter harry e gates would be my grandmothers brother. Although untill we started to do this family tree nobody had mentioned his name.not even my nan she was not born untill 1914. so by time she would of been old enough to remember maybe he had already gone. She had been suffering from gall bladder ailments for some time. The following children survive Mrs. (Dora) Sumner Noll, Jacksonville, FL; Mrs. (Helen) Daniel Stover, Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa; John A. Neidigh, Mrs. (Vida) Charles Rudy, Clayton F. Neidigh, Earl Neidigh, Mrs. (Violet) Ray McGhee, and Raymond Neidigh all of State College, Pa and Mrs. (Isabel) George Wheeland, Pine Grove Mills, Pa. A sister and a brother, Mrs. Ellen Rider of Stormstown, Pa and William Gates of Altoona, Pa also survives, together with 12 grandchildren. The deceased was born June 15, 1876, a daughter of David and Mary Jane McElwain Gates. She was a member of the Pine Hall Reformed Church and the Rebekah lodge at Pine Grove Mills. She married Mr. Neidigh January 17, 1901. The funeral will be held at 2:30 o’clock Friday afternoon! from the late home at Pine Hall, with further services to follow in the Pine Hall Reformed Church. The Rev. H. L. Wink of Boalsburg, Pa will officiate and burial will be made at Pine Hall. Obit for her husband Jacob D. Neidigh (1872-1965) PA can be found on the Neidigh board.
