However, William did not go to Central Florida he remained in Georgia his entire lifetime and is buried in a small private cemetery on property he owned and is still owned by family (or at least it was some years ago.) Their sister, Martha Cravey Fussell Knowles and her family moved to Central Florida about 1877. Martha is my great, great grandmother on the Fussell marriage. Everyone except me is still in the Central Florida area and I am just over the Florida/Georgia line in Valdosta. One of William Cravey's sons moved to Florida and has descendants in Polk Co. I am a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and have used the service of both Capt. John and William. William enlisted 27 Aug 1863 in Abbeville, GA. He was in Co. D, 22nd Batt'n - Cavalry. John enlisted 26 Oct 1861 in Jacksonville, GA in a State Militia unit -- Calhoun Volunteers. He was a Captain.
