If so, has there been one area that crops up more frequently? I am trying to narrow down the possibilities for my ancestor Michael Conley who was born about 1794 in NC and lived in Laurens Co., GA briefly before moving to Telfair Co., GA. I noticed that the following families also moved from NC to Telfair: Hilliard Bowen Campbell Cobb To name only a few. Any help is greatly appreciated.
