Hi GA. Researchers, Sorry if you get doubles, if you are even getting your mail? Some still aren't! Here is some info that just may hopfully help you find what & who you are looking for, and maybe surprise you with some you weren't expecting to find! :-) If you do not know the name of the town that you are lookin for specific info in, but do know the name of the county? try this: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/gafiles.htm When this opens, click on: GA Cities. (Say for instance I was trying to find out where in Douglas Ga. that my husband's grandmother Ollie Holton Music is buried.) I would click on the "D" for Douglas. Scroll down to find Douglas in the left hand cloumn...... it says it is in Coffee Co. (there are also communites and other things, NOT just towns listed here) Now go back to the main page, and click on COUNTY FILES, and click on Coffee Co. There is a wealth of information here. But if I were looking for her burial, I would click on CEMETERY RECORDS. There are 27 cemeteries posted here. I find her buried in Sand Hill Cem. There is a wealth of information here. ALL GA. COUNTIES Click on any and all the surrounding counties. There is much info out there to be found. I am just trying to help you find that info. If you have info that you would like to be posted to the GaGenWeb Archives, they welcome ALL contributions and will help to see that it gets stored in the correct locations. Click on: Click here to transcribe and send in your records! <http://www.poppet.org/gafiles> I am sure someone will be happy to help you if you can not figure it out. You can also do a serach here, if you just what you are looking for, only here you would click instead on Search the GABACON archives <http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl?list=GABACON> , and type in what you are looking for in Query:...check out ALL the years.
