Hodges (02 Nov 1799 in Bulloch Co., Ga. and died 1884 in Hamilton Co., FL) He married Ann Butler McCall and they had 5 children. Cynthia Hodges(1803) Elizabeth Hodges(1806) William Riley Hodges(08 Feb 1808 in Charlton Co., Ga, died 08 Feb 1858 in Near Coleraine, Charlton Co., Ga) He married Nancy Leigh and they had 7 children. Samuel Hodges(1810 in Tattnall Co., GA) Willis Aaron Hodges(my great great grandfather)(01 Aug 1812 in Reidsville, Tattnall Co., Ga, died 17 Aug 1886 in Charlton Co., Ga) He married (1) Mehalia Johns( 17 Feb 1827 in Camden Co Ga and died 1880 in Charlton Co., GA). They had fifteen children: Anna Hodges(02 Nov 1843 in Moniac, Charlton Co., GA, died 10 Apr 1880) She married John W. Yarbrough and they had 8 children. George Washington Hodges(29 Nov 1845 in Moniac Charlton Co., GA, died 22 Oct 1908 in Nassau Co, Fl) He married Cecilia A.Nelson and they had 7 children. William J. Hodges (25 Jan 1847 in Moniac, Charlton Co.GA and died 06 May 1930) Married Carrie Conner. Elihu Hodges (08 Nov 1849 in Moniac, Charlton Co., GA, died 28 Aug 1904) He married Elizabeth Johns and they had 8 children). Willis Alexander Hodges(08 Nov 1852 in Moniac Charlton Co., GA, died 16 May 1930 in Callahan, Nassau Co., Fl) he married Sarah Stokes and they had 7 children) John (Doc) Hodges(08 Aug 1854 in MOniac, Charlton Co., GA, 09 Jan 1952 n Charlton Co., GA) he married Sarah Caroline Thompson and they had 14 children. James B. Hodges(11 Apr 1856, same as siblings, died 27 May 1913) He married Sarah Dyal and had one child, he married Sarah Jane Johns and they had 6 children. Senova Hodges(07 Feb 1858 , same as siblings, died 31 Dec 1873) She married William Riley Johns Jr and they had 10 children. Andrew Jackson Hodges(19 Apr 1858, same as above, 10 Jul 1908) He married 3 times: Angeline Cowart, Hettie Thomas, and Catherine and they had 5 children. Daniel R. Hodges(03 Aug 1861, 14 Jun 1907) He married 2 times: Nancy Batten, one child. 2 wife: Lucetta Howard and they had 12 children. Nathaniel Hodges(03 May 1863, died 16 Feb 1929 Nassau Co, Fl) He married Sarah S. Thomas and they had 8 children. Emily Hodges(09 Feb 1864, same, and died 1928 in Charlton Co., GA) She married Henry Graham Stokes and they had 11 children. John Joshua Hodges(my great grandfather) (Jun 1867 in Moniac, Charton Co., GA, died Bef 1920(Probably died abt 1917-1918 during the big influenza outbreak in Baker Co. FL.) He married Courtney Victoria Crews(06 Jul 1870 Charlton Co., Ga, died 22 Nov 1949 in Baker Co., FL. They had 10 children: Effie Hodges: (1895 in Baker co. FL, died (we think in Feb 1987 in TN, if this is the right Effie that is their daughter), Oscar Hodges(15 Oct 1887, Baker Co, FL, died 06 Nov 1918)He married Nola Thomas Crews and they as far as I ahve researched only had one child: Riley Cleveland Hodges(14 Nov 1910 in FL and died 19 Nov 1986 in Marianna, Jackson Co., FL. He married Margaret M. Hersey who is still living. Francis(Frank) Hodges(12 Dec 1892, Baker Co., FL, 30 May 1962, same) he married Emma Minnie Barber and they had 7 children. Netty Hodges: 1897 James McDonald( 1899) Clifford Hodges)My Grandfather)(22 Feb 1904 in Macclenny, Baker Co. Fl., died 18 Dec 1973, same place). He married Allie Hersey and they had 7 children: all living: Louise, Warren, Linnie, Donnie Lee(my mother), David, Janie and Idus Clifford. Simmons Hodges: 1902 Linnie(1907 in Baker Co., Fl and died 1928) Lucy (1910) Grady(1912) Mary Elizabeth Hodges(1868 Moniac Charlton Co., unknown when died)She married James W. Addison and then married Jackson Crews and they had 6 children. Martha Hodges(08 Nov 1870, same, died 03 Jun 1927 St George, Charlton Co. Ga) She married Robert N. Chism and they had 10 children. Clifford Hodges daughter: Donnie Lee Hodges married Carroll Walter McPherson Jr and they had me Stephanie Lynn McPherson who married Joseph B. Grohol Jr. So that is my connection to the Hodges family.....Also..on some of the people above that I don't have exact dates of either birth or death....if someone does have the dates, I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me.
