Hello list, I am looking for information on one D.J. McCranie and one W. S. Dowdy in Telfair County between 1890-and 1900. Believe these two men posted bond for my grand father John Dowdy in Telfair County around 1895. Does anybody on this list have information on these two men? Thanks for any information. I have a D. J. McCranies who meets the criteria. He is Daniel James McCranie b. 26 Feb. 1840, Irwin Co., GA, d. 30 May 1906, Milan, Telfair Co., GA. bu. in Rockwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Telfair Co., GA. If you think he might be the one, let me know and I can provide more data if necessary. I also have in my database a William Shepherd Dowdy, b. abt 1832, died 1906.
