A shared headstone with Catherine Victoria Adams, born Oct 2, 1854 and died May 21, 1927. 1850 Gwinnett County Ga Census: Bengard Dist 1153 1153 Masten H Adams, 36, born SC Elizabeth 30 born Ga Thomas A 12 born GA Ludy H, 10 Matilda 7 George 1 1860 Gwinnett Cty. Dist 316 Masten H Adams, 40 or 46, born SC Elizabeth 37 M T 21 Luda 18 George 12 Isadera 10 Jas J 5 John Dason? 26, born Ireland? I couldn't find them on the 1870. 1880 Gwinnett census. Adams, Geo. W, 32 father born SC Victoria, 25 G W 4 Charles H 2 Olia , 5 1900 Gwinnett County Adams, George W, April 1850 married 27 years Catharine, 45, 3 births, 3 living Charlie H, June 1878, 22 Lessie, Aug 1888, 11 Elmore, 1891, 9 From Dodge County Newspaper Clippings, Vol IV, p.1978 (May 26, 1927 edition) Mrs. Victoria Adams died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.W.Reid, Saturday. Burial took place in the Chauncey Cemetery Sunday. Mrs. Adams was born and reared in Gwinett County and was 72 years old. She moved to Dodge County about 25 years ago and has resided at Suomi until about a year ago, when she came to the home of her daughter in Eastman. She was a consistent member of Chauncey Methodist Church. Mrs. Adams is survived by three children, Elmer Adams of Chauncey, Mrs W.W.Reid of Eastman, and George Adams of Canada.
