Andrew LOWERY m. Ida Frances Flanders 15 Aug 1886 in Laurens County, GA (Book J p 391). He was b. 11 Jul 1861 in Dublin, Laurens Co, GA d. 15 Aug 1932 Asteria, Clatsop Co, OR. This line is confusing for there were several by the name of Andrew. Also many people confuse the line of William Elcainer "Caner" Lowery (Dodge County) with the line of Andrew Lowery and Angelany Loftin (Jefferson > Laurens > Telfair) for many of their offspring had the exact same names with only a possible middle initial to distinguish them. We have not been able to determine exactly how Caner Lowery and the elder Andrew Lowery are related, but Caner was born in GA according to Census records, and not NC, although his wife Nancy Maloy was born in NC. A book compiled by Edsel Joiner suggested Caner may be a brother to Andrew, but I'm thinking Caner may be a nephew since most of Andrew's other siblings were being married by the time Caner was born in 1815. Andrew Lowery b. abt 1785 d. 07 Sep 1870 Laurens Co, GA is the son of William Lowery and Rhoda Pearis Neely (McNeely).
