For instance: 1807 Telfair Co., GA formed from Wilkinson and Appling. 1818 Irwin Co. formed from Indian Lands, Telfair and Coffee. 1825 Thomas Co. formed from Baker, Decatur, Irwin, Loundes 1854 Coffee County contributed areas to formation of Clinch, Irwin, and Loundes. 1856 Coffee and Telfair had a child county: Berrien!
