Sara (known as Kate) first husband was Gillium Elbert Peacock b 1827, d 1913. They lived in Dodge County, GA. I am trying to find information on John William Martin - he was my grandfather, buried at Mt. Arara Free Will Baptist Church, Old Cemetery (partially abandoned) in the Chauncey area. My father was Clenon Edward Martin, b. 1916, d.1983. John William Martin was in his 70's when my father was born. He died shortly after my father was born. Sara Catherine was very much younger. He was the only child of John William and Sarah Catherine. Sarah Catherine had 3 children with Elbert Peacock prior to her marriage to John William Martin. I would very much like to contact any of John William Martin's children to gain more information for my family tree. My father's side of the family is a mystery.
