Specifically, a C. COOPER who was listed as a surviving brother in the 1964 obituary of my husband's great grandmother, Idella C. BRANCH. Two other surviving brothers were listed as T. J. COOPER of McRae and A. M. COOPER of Warner Robbins. C. S. COOPER was listed as being of Jacksonville, Georgia. (surviving sisters were Mrs. M. L. GILDER and Mrs. D. C. CONLEY of Macon and Mrs. J. H. PITTS of Vidalia.) I found a "C. COOPER" in the SSDI having died June 1974 and being a resident of Jacksonville, Georgia, so I am hoping this is the C. S. COOPER I'm looking for. The SSDI also listed for COOPERs in Telfair County an Annie S. COOPER, b. 12 Oct 1897, d. 12 June 1992, who I am hoping may be his wife. (ironic how they were both born in the same month and died in the same month, though different years) Do these names sound familiar to anyone? BTW, the parents of these COOPERs are Henry COOPER and Emily Jane GRIMES of Laurens County, Georgia. Can anyone do an obit lookup for these two COOPERs in the Jacksonville or Telfair County newspaper(s)? I'd be so grateful and would be happy to reimburse copying and postage costs. Thank you! Karla
