I suspect this is a connection of my Clements family, which married into the McRaes (my grandmother was Mary Clements, daughter of James D. Clements and Sarah McRae). The Dodge County Newspaper Clip book for 1873-1892 lists, on pg 212, the marriage May 27 1884 of Dr. Lem Clements and Miss Ella V., eldest daughter of Dr. J.C. Ryals. I'll be glad to compare notes.
