Hi, everyone, and thanks, Jeanette, for the introduction. I'm looking for information on my great-grandfather, Garnie White b 1894 in Toombs Co, GA, d. 1979 in Zephyrhills, FL. His parents were Willie White and Lindy Williams/White. He married Mary Annie Walker. She is daughter of John Henry Walker, sister to Mattie Lee Spires. Here's the story I have from my grandfather. He said Willie and Lindy died when Garnie was young. Garnie then went to live with Dr. Gray. He also said John Henry Walker's father was "never talked about" and there was a note about the Powers family. Does anyone have information on this? Looking forward to researching with you all!
