My gggrandfather's name was Thomas Barber, born abt. 1822 and died July 13, 1894, he was married to Jannie F. (don't know her maiden name), who was born on March 7, 1828 and died May 2, 1895. There children were Thomas Holton, Eugene and Millie. Thomas Holton was my ggrandfather. Thomas Holton Barber married 2 times, the first to Della Woods, who died February 11, 1901. Their children were Eva, born July 18,1887, Clyde, born 1892, Estelle, born July 5, 1894, Alber Thomas, my grandfather, born September 7, 1896, Ernest Willie, born July 22, 1898 and Loribelle, born 1899. His second wife was Mollie Culbreth, their children (some may be Mollie's from a prior marriage, I'm not sure) Leonard Everett, Aubrey DeWitt, born November 18, 1906, Pauline and Ophelia. My grandfather, Albert Thomas was born on September 7, 1896 and died December 22, 1984. He was married twice. His first wife (my grandmother) was Wade Hampton Cook, born December 1, 1902 and died on February 15, 1979, they were married on June 2, 1918 in McRae, GA. Their children were Helen Lois, born April 22, 1919, Josephine Della, born December 28, 1920, Alberta (Berta) Phyllis, born October 10, 1922, Ernest Thomas, born October 23, 1926, Myrtle Harriett, my mama, born November 23, 1928, Bobby Gary, born November 16, 1932, Wayne Eugene, born February 5, 1937 and Patricia Ann, born August 21, 1939. Anyone who might have information on where the Barber family and/or who their spouses were and were they may have come from and who their ancestors are would be greatly appreciated.
