Write the "Clerk of Court" in Reidsville, GA and ask them to send you a copy of the marriage certificate. Hello list, I am trying to find any information on James B. Pace. Believe he was born and maybe married in Telfair County. He married Flora Dowdy ca, 1892-95. Both were listed in Richmond, VA on 1820 census. When and where was James B. Pace born and when and where did he die? Any help appreciated. Thanks, VaDow

Looking for any information on a Tollie B. Wade. He died in Dec 2001 and was living in McRae GA. It is my understanding he had a barber shop there as did his father before him. He fought in WWII and was an army buddy to my father who is seeking information on him. Does anyone know of him or any of his family? Thanks for any information that you can provide. Laura

Their children were Helen Lois, born April 22, 1919, Josephine Della, born December 28, 1920, Alberta (Berta) Phyllis, born October 10, 1922, Ernest Thomas, born October 23, 1926, Myrtle Harriett, my mama, born November 23, 1928, Bobby Gary, born November 16, 1932, Wayne Eugene, born February 5, 1937 and Patricia Ann, born August 21, 1939. Bowen's" in Telfair County during this time frame. There was even two men, George Washington Bowen, in the same regiment in the Civil War. It is difficult to get them all straight. How are you related to the Bowen's in Telfair? My thinking is that somehow they were all related somehow. I just don't know how. So you didn't mess up at all.
